RAISE3D E2 VS. FUSION3 EDGE
(Updated 3/12/2022)
Raise3D, since its initial kickstarter in 2015, seems to have patterned its products & activities in the US after Fusion3.
We’re flattered with their latest attempt with the Pro3 and Pro3 Plus. Initial upgrades with their interface, continue a focus on ‘flash’, and seem to have improvements in bed leveling. Also, the Pro3 plus does have a taller build area, however, its width and depth are smaller at 11.8″ vs. EDGE’s 14″.
Comparing the two 3D printers head to head the advantages of the Fusion3 EDGE should be very clear:
Initial indications show that EDGE is able to print 20-30% faster than the Pro3 at similar or better print quality.
Larger print area than the Pro3.
Ability to purchase filament from multiple vendors and receive optimized settings from Fusion3.
Designed to print carbon fiber and other abrasive engineering-grade filaments out of the box.
Longer warranty and more robust support.
Made in the USA.
