Weaver Center Recap

Mar 2, 2014 | Announcements

Today we took one of our F306 3D printers to Weaver Education Center in Greensboro to introduce our technology to the students and teachers at Weaver.

Weaver is Guilford County’s foremost school for performing arts and advanced technology courses. They offer courses in a wide array of topics such as game design, diesel engine repair, metal fabrication and machining, and other vocational education topics.

Gene Holder, metal fabrication instructor, was kind enough to let us set up in his classroom and bring classes of students through to learn about 3D printing. We had a great time explaining how 3D printing works, and exploring ideas on how it could be used in schools.
